My Go-To Brunch Place: Fratelli Cafe

I love breakfast food. I could drink smoothies and eat oatmeal and eggs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I’m pretty sure I’ve done it, actually. And don’t even get me started on waffles and avocado toast.

One of my best friends and I have been going to Fratelli Cafe a lot. We come here when we want to have brunch and chat, have brunch before going shopping, or refuel after a long hike. We just ate there last weekend.

One of the reasons we love this place is that we often don’t have to wait for a table. Even when there is a line, the wait isn’t that long. When my friend and I came here after the aforementioned hike, we were told it would be a 30-minute wait. We were dusty and sweaty and craving ice cream after our intense hike so we decided to get vegan rolled ice cream from Cold Rolled Ice Cream, which was less than a block away, while we waited. Fratelli Cafe texted us that our table was ready 10 minutes later. Our ice cream wasn’t even ready yet!

We ended up eating our ice cream in the restaurant while looking at the menu. It was kind of awkward, but the staff was super chill about it. Despite the pre-lunch dessert, we still managed to finish most of our food. Because that’s how good the food is!

Fratelli Cafe offers all day breakfast food, which is the way to my <3. There is a wide range of options, from pancakes and waffles to breakfast burritos and tacos. I’ve tried the banana and nutella waffle, The Everlys burrito (pictured below), and one of the croissant sandwiches. None of them disappoint in terms of taste or portion size. I always leave Fratelli feeling super full and in need of a long walk to help me digest…haha.

Fratelli also has lunch options, like burgers, sandwiches, and salads, but I don’t even look at that side of the menu…LOL.

This post is literally a rave about my favorite brunch restaurant, but seriously, go try this place. Oh, and always choose the side of potatoes. They are bomb!
