HAPPY JUNE! It’s the beginning of a new month, which means it’s time for monthly favorites! I recently returned from a trip to Italy (blog post coming soon!) so most of the items on this list are due to travel-related reasons. Let’s jump right into what I loved in May, shall we?
I’m on the second bottle of this face mist, and for someone who constantly switches toners and face mists, this is saying a lot about how great this stuff is. All of the products by Little Barn Apothecary are made with all natural, non-toxic ingredients and are made-to-order…nothing better than fresh ingredients! This balance mist is made of only three ingredients: organic aloe vera, Turkish rose, and Nigerian hibiscus.
I like to mist this over my face after cleansing at night to rehydrate, balance the pH level of my skin, and ensure that moisturizers I put on afterwards are absorbed better.
This portable charger has been a life saver during my trip! Constantly using roaming data and location services and taking pictures of the gorgeous architecture and sceneries in Italy really drained my battery…FAST! Thank goodness for this super portable device.
And thank you to Huyen (blogger of Finding a Balance), who gave me this on my 21st birthday! If you want to learn more about health and fitness, check out her blog 🙂 She writes very informative posts about her experience with nutrition, fitness, and personal growth.
A travel adapter is essential for international travel. Gotta keep those electronic devices charged, including that portable charger mentioned above…haha.
I got this one for my trip to Korea two years ago (read my post on that trip here), and I pulled it out again for my trip to Italy. This all-in-one adapter with US/EU/UK/AU plugs is suitable for traveling to any country.
I already use my Kindle everyday, but it was great for alleviating boredom during my long flights. I’m not the best at sleeping on planes, and I’m not keen on the idea of watching 12 hours of movies with poor quality headphones provided by the airline. So I’m super glad I brought my Kindle with me. Also, I couldn’t really stay away from the Harry Potter series for very long. Currently on the fifth book…hehe.
WOW! I didn’t realized how technology-filled this post was, but it described my experience in May pretty well. Look out for the upcoming post on Italy next week!
